About Me

Hello, everyone! My name is Sailor Church, and I'm an American who started this blog to share my experiences living abroad in France, as well as how I've navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship. I'm originally from Huntington Beach, California, where I lived my entire life before moving overseas on a long-stay visa.

I'm 21 years old and still figuring out many aspects of my life, but that's part of the journey. I recently graduated college with a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising and a minor in consumer affairs. For the past two years, I've been dating my French boyfriend, and managing a relationship across continents has come with its fair share of challenges. However, meeting him pushed me to take a leap of faith and experience things I never imagined I would.

I've always loved writing and journalism, and this blog felt like the perfect way to share my stories, lessons, and perspective with others who may find themselves in similar situations.
